About Us
Kelly S. Last, DDS
Dr. Kelly Last, a native of Colorado, graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2006. Dr. Last strongly believes in the importance of continuing education to the practice of dentistry and attends numerous hours of education annually. Additionally, she is a member of several local and national study clubs and professional organizations, including the ADA, CDA, MDDS, the highly prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy and IAOMT. Dr. Last is excited and honored to provide the highest quality dentistry with a focus on personalized care to the residents of Evergreen. Her commitment to compassion, integrity and precision are the hallmarks of her practice.
Dr. Last has been married to her husband, Rob, since 2008, and they are happily raising their two children, Simon and Olivia, in addition to their fur babies, a goldendoodle and two cats. She loves spending time with her family and of course enjoys all the mountain activities that Colorado has to offer, especially hiking, snowboarding and sailing on Lake Dillon. She is also very passionate about the practice of yoga and the daily practice of meditation (which helps keep her sane). When she's not working to make you smile, she can be found providing free dental services to members of our community who are in need through organizations such as the Dental Lifeline and Donated Dental Services.
Blythe Ferguson, DDS
Dr. Blythe Ferguson is thrilled to be providing care to the Evergreen community here at Elevation Dental. Originally from Gainesville, Florida, she built a strong foundation in science, earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in microbiology from the University of Florida and Tulane University. She went on to complete her doctorate at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, followed by an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through NYU Langone Health in Brighton, Colorado, where she trained at Salud Family Health Centers. Dr. Ferguson is now a member of the ADA, CDA, MDDS and is passionate about learning about new technologies in the field.
Dr. Ferguson loves that dentistry allows her to combine science and artistry while making a meaningful impact on her patients’ health and confidence. She is dedicated to providing thoughtful, high-quality care and building lasting relationships with her patients.
Outside the office, you’ll likely find her exploring the Colorado outdoors with her fiancé, Garrett, and their Australian Shepherd, Spur. She enjoys hiking 14ers, backpacking, reading, hot yoga, skiing, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Florida Gators.
Dr. Ferguson is excited to serve the Evergreen community she already loves so much and looks forward to caring for her patients for many years to come.

Deb Martinez (Dental Assistant EDDA)
Deb, a Colorado native from Walsenburg, is a proud grandmother and an experienced dental assistant with a career spanning nearly four decades. She graduated from the Colorado College of Medical & Dental Careers and has dedicated herself to the dental field since 1985. Deb's greatest joy is her daughter, who she considers her best friend and pride, along with her loyal fur baby, Cooper.
An avid outdoor enthusiast, Deb loves camping, fishing, and cooking. She takes immense pride in her role, finding fulfillment in helping patients feel comfortable and at ease while receiving essential care. Her commitment to patient well-being shines through in everything she does.
Emalee Jade (Dental Assistant)
Emalee, a Conifer/Evergreen native, graduated as the valedictorian of the general dental assisting program at Emily Griffith Technical College in 2021. She began her career as a pediatric dental assistant, working closely with children, and has since expanded her expertise to general dental assisting. Motivated by her own and her family’s past dental experiences, Emalee is driven to learn everything she can about the dental field. Her commitment to growth and mastering new skills has been a hallmark of her career. In her free time, Emalee enjoys snowboarding, photography, painting, and is an avid golfer. She also loves football and hockey. Emalee is immensely grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow with Dr. Last and the Elevation Dental team. Let’s get to learning!
Jodie Backsmeier (Hygienist)
Jodie was born in Denver, CO, but grew up in Ft. Wayne, IN. As a child, her family would visit Colorado each winter to go skiing, and she always dreamed of returning “home” someday. After graduating from the Indiana University Dental Hygiene Program in Ft. Wayne in 2007, Jodie joined the United States Navy, where she served actively as a dental hygienist for six years. She was stationed aboard the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) and deployed to the Middle East in 2010. Jodie is proud to have served her country and is deeply grateful for the opportunity.
After completing her service, Jodie and her husband, Adam, moved to Colorado in 2015. Together, they love raising their two sons, Luke and Matthew, in the state they both cherish. When she’s not working, Jodie enjoys running, skiing, hiking, camping—anything that lets her soak up the great outdoors!
Emily Beauchamp (Hygienist)
Emily has called Colorado home for over 25 years, and after a few years of city life in Denver, she’s happily returned to mountain living. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Visual Arts from UNC, followed by a Dental Hygiene degree at CCD. Emily values the close connections she builds with her patients and takes an individualized approach to meet each patient’s needs. With a strong commitment to overall wellness, she brings a progressive mindset to her work and is always enthusiastic about learning through continuing education.
In her free time, Emily enjoys mountain biking, painting, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She’s grateful to be part of the Elevation Dental team and looks forward to creating lasting relationships with both patients and colleagues.
Sherrie Stodghill (Hygienist)
Sherrie is a familiar face in our community, having proudly called Evergreen home for 27 years and Colorado for 52. She earned her BA in Hospitality Management from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1994. After raising two children with her husband, Sherrie returned to school to pursue her passion and graduated from CCD’s Dental Hygiene program in 2016. Dedicated to her work, Sherrie believes that every patient deserves exceptional care, kindness, and honesty. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking, camping, and spending quality time with family and friends.
